Alison Pill
Pill began her film career with her first film in Canada But it wasn't until a few years later that she made her first appearance on the American film industry. Bruce Gray starred on an episode in the Canadian show Traders. Pill got a role in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation with Wallace Langham, Liz Vassey, and Michael Ensign, in the episode "Would have, Can, Shoulda" written and performed written and acted by Naren Shakar. Pill's work in Picard was later followed by a prominent support role as "Katie" on Devs. This show, produced for FX Productions on Hulu and served by the digital VFX company Double Negative, featured her throughout the series. The resemblance to Picard didn't end there. It was revealed in this same year, principal theme of the show was around the preservation of consciousness in a computer-generated world. It was also the case with Data as well.
